Comedy Show

Last night I went to a comedy show at Rockin Baja. One of the servers from my work (Mirv) performs there every Wednesday so a lot of people from work ended up going. It was a lot of fun.

Sometimes there just isn't much going on, but I take pictures anyway.

Our apartment building is on the left. The construction on the right has been extremely enjoyable, especially on my days off. They start work right at 8:00am EVERY morning. Maybe by the time we move home they will finally be done.
This is me before I went to the gym today. Making faces in my new sunglasses.
Here's the view in front of our apartment. I thought that most of you would enjoy seeing the green palm trees in January.
Dave with the laptop table. I don't know if you can tell but he is laying on the floor. Why you ask? Well, the futon that is also our couch has become so uncomfortable that the floor is the better option. Let's hope we get a tax refund this year so we can buy a couch!

Crockpot Recipes

I am in need of some Crockpot recipes. I haven't used ours yet mainly because I'm not sure what to make. I'd appreciate it if anyone would send me some ideas.

Shane Dancing

While we were in Utah we spent some time with my mom and Cal. They had Shane with them at the time. I wasn't in the room but Dave was lucky enough to have his camera there while Shane was trying to mimic the dances that he saw on TV. Here is what Dave got:

Happy New Year

It's already 2008. I had to celebrate at work but it wasn't too bad until 2:00am when all of the party people started wandering in. It got crowded pretty fast. Dave spent most of his evening there hanging out and watching sports on the big screens. I was glad he was there for the midnight New Year kiss.
The picture above is of the crew that was lucky enough to spend their holiday working at Maryjane's. From left to right we have Tim (busser), Mirv (server), Des (server), Me (hostess), Tom (server), Maria (Runner), and Trish (server).
Although I would have much rather spent the holiday somewhere else it wasn't too bad to be working. That is until people came in drunk, loud, seating themselves (which happens a lot and really irritates me), etc.. I started getting really tired around 1:30am and was finally off at 3:00am.
Anyway, I hope that the rest of you had a wonderful and safe New Year. I think I will get started on those resolutions.
