We went to El Rancho Grande on Saturday to celebrate Deryk's 25th birthday. I have been going to that restaurant since I was little, it always brings back memories.

We just got back from our trip to San Diego to find an apartment. Our official move in date is August 14th. So, here it is (We'll be on the 12th floor):


This next photo is of Dave's foot injury. I'm not sure if he would like me to divulge the details but, if you want to know what happened then give him a call. It involved a golf cart....

Happy 4th of July!

We spent the 4th of July over at my dad's house. We had a really good time! It was the first time in a long time that we were all together; all of my step-sisters, my brother, my dad, Pat and Grandpa Virgil. It was extremely hot during the day but we still sat outside and soaked up the sun.

This is Charlie. I couldn't get him to look at the camera for the life of me. I will show him this one day in the future and make fun of him for being such a brat to me!

Tricia's boys - Gaige and Sean. (I can't beleive how old they are getting! When I met Trish, Sean was only 4 years old. Now he's 14 and Gaige is 10!)

I Love Summer

July 1st was Cal's (my step-dad) 49th birthday. We celebrated by spending the day over at their house having a barbeque. My brother and mom picked up the food so I offered to pick up the birthday cake. Look closely and you will see the adorable Barbie ice cream cake that I bought. (If any of you know me and Cal then you know that we have a "special" relationship and there is no way I could have picked out a "normal" birthday cake for him.) The celebration turned out well and the food was excellent! It was really great to spend time with everyone, especially Ren and Kallie. We don't see them enough! We really missed seeing Shane and are looking forward to the visit this weekend as we make our way through California.

Since today was such a warm day we invited my brother over to go swimming at the pool. It was so warm and the water felt great, I could have stayed all night! I love the main men in my life so much. I was blessed with a wonderful brother and a perfect husband who I grow to love more and more every day.
