Zoo

This morning I went with my friend Joaquin and his daughter Winter to the zoo. Although we didn't stay that long, Maya really seemed to enjoy it.

By the way, Maya is a walker now. She is still wobbly but she loves to walk.

Pretty pooped after 2 hours at the zoo. (Maya loves snuggling Elmo lately.)

Swimming Pool

We finally got Maya into a swimming pool and as you can tell by the pictures below she absolutely loved it. I think she must take after her dad. Anyway, I'm looking forward to spending more time at the pool this summer. 

SeaWorld

Maya fell asleep in the car on the way to SeaWorld so we spent the first hour just letting her nap. 

I think this was at the dolphin show before we got yelled at for blocking someone's view. 

Maya loved being up close to the sea otters (I think that's what they are). 

The family at the Shamu show. It was SO hot! We went to the night show the next day and I enjoyed that much more.

Jennie was sending pictures of the kids to the SeaWorld people and they showed them on the big screen at the end of the show.

I will get Sean to smile for me one day.

Maya was getting a little squirmy so Grandma took over and entertained her for a while.

The kids loved the beach and Maya fit right in.

This was fun to try and clean off. It made no difference to Maya, she loved playing in the sand.

A couple randoms from the trip.

We decided to split the drive to San Diego into 2 days. We drove to St. George and stayed overnight then continued on to California the next day. Maya did really well in the car but I don't think things would have gone so well if we didn't have the portable DVD player to entertain her. In this photo she is watching her favorite movie, Despicable Me.  

The beach house we stayed at was perfect and Maya loved seeing her cousins every day. 

This spider web was on the porch light and I thought it looked really neat. 

I thought she looked so cute when she was sleeping. She was completely pooped out after playing with her cousins .

My Beach Baby

We just got home from a week long trip to San Diego. I will post more pictures later this week but I wanted to post a little something now since it's been a while. I promise to give a complete update soon.
