Maya & Mckenzie Meet

Today I met up with my mom, Aunt Pat, cousin Ashley and her baby Mckenzie to spend some time together and introduce the babies to each other.

Arts Fest

Little Red Head

It seems like every time we give Maya a bath her hair color changes just a little bit. I took these pictures today because her hair looked so red after her bath, and because she's just so cute I can't help but take a ton of pictures. Enjoy!

First Father's Day

Dave's first Father's Day. He is already such a wonderful dad. I love seeing him interact with Maya. She absolutely adores him and I'm pretty smitten with him as well.

We spent the afternoon at Snowbird with my dad...

...and of course Sunday dinner with the Holmans and Dave's dad.

Hanging at Grandma's House

My mom bought this cute outfit for Maya. The shirt says, "Off to Grandma's", so I dressed her in it and took her to my mom's house for a visit. She's such a little doll!

Maya & Beckam Meet

We dropped by my dad's house for a second today and Alicia showed up with baby Beckam. She had him on May 17th so he is only a couple of weeks older than Maya. We introduced the two of them and they looked so cute together!

If one baby was awake, the other was asleep. If one was calm, the other one was crying. It was too cute!

Dave's sister Marianne was over the other day and took a few pictures of me, Dave and Maya since we didn't have any of the 3 of us together.

I guess that I haven't really been up to being photographed since I'm still recovering from the c-section, but we are planning on getting a family picture taken as soon as I have recovered.

3 Years Today

Dave and I have been married for 3 years today. It has been the happiest 3 years of my life and I love him so much! He is an amazing husband and a wonderful father. I can't imagine spending my life with anyone else. Happy anniversary Dave! I love your guts!

Dave has been very busy with school and work but he makes time to snuggle with his little girl. She loves him so much and it's so cute to see her react to his voice whenever he talks to her.

Milk coma

This is from today. I love this outfit and the little bow. She looks so sweet.

The swelling in my feet finally went down enough that we were able to go for a short walk today. Dave walked Sadie and I pushed Maya in the stroller to the mailboxes at our apartment complex. I can't wait to be fully recovered so that we can go on longer walks, but it was still nice to get out and walk, even though it was a short distance. (If you look closely in this picture you can see Maya's dimple on her right cheek. So adorable!)

Bekker Photography

If you haven't already, make sure to check out Bekker Photography. The photographer is our cousin Tara Bekker and she does an amazing job. We took Maya to her house yesterday to have some photos taken and although Maya wasn't really up for it we were still able to get some great shots.

My Sweet Girl - Day 6 Update

So far we have learned that Maya does not like to be naked and she really hates bath time, but she looks absolutely adorable in her bath robe!

While we were at the hospital our friend Josh was babysitting our dog Sadie for us. He brought her home on Saturday and we introduced her to Maya. Sadie has been great but just doesn't understand why we won't let her kiss the baby. I think she's just a little depressed and jealous but she is adjusting well.

We still have a steady flow of visitors. Here is Maya with Grandpa Cal.
