Santa Claus

We took Maya to see Santa Claus yesterday. I wasn't sure how she would do but when it was our turn she was so excited and had no problem sitting on his lap and telling him what she wanted for Christmas (a "purple present").

Halloween 2013

My step-sister Alicia threw a Halloween party on the 26th. If you can't tell, we are dressed up as the milkman and the pregnant housewife. 

During the party I lost track of Dave. When I found him he was upstairs surrounded by girls. 

The ladies love him! 

This is me and my step-sis Codi. She is also pregnant (with a boy) and is due in March. 

Maya was so excited to go trick-or-treating and she looked super cute in her bee costume.

3D Ultrasound

34 Weeks

I am 34 weeks pregnant. Baby Cade is doing well and is very active. I am exhausted and in pain a lot of the time. Luckily I have a great husband who helps me out a ton. 

Maya is excited for her baby brother. She likes to pretend that he is in her belly. She will have you put your hand on her stomach and she'll jump, saying that he is kicking. It's pretty cute. 

I think we're all looking forward to meeting this little one. Only 6 weeks left! 

Random October Pictures

Dave took Maya up to Silver Lake a few weeks ago to give me some time to myself (what a sweet husband!) and to go on a nice hike with Maya. 

It was during the government shutdown.

Dave took this great picture of Maya while they were up there. I had a friend say that it looks like it should be in a catalog and I agree.

October is my favorite time of year. I love the cooler weather and I LOVE Halloween.

Bella came over last night to decorate gingerbread haunted houses with Maya. We had a great time!
