Random October Pictures

Dave took Maya up to Silver Lake a few weeks ago to give me some time to myself (what a sweet husband!) and to go on a nice hike with Maya. 

It was during the government shutdown.

Maya took this picture. As you can see it was a little chilly up there.

Dave took this great picture of Maya while they were up there. I had a friend say that it looks like it should be in a catalog and I agree.

October is my favorite time of year. I love the cooler weather and I LOVE Halloween.

Bella came over last night to decorate gingerbread haunted houses with Maya. We had a great time!

End of Summer Fun

Dave took Maya on a small hike a couple of weeks ago and took these pictures .

Someone offered to take a picture of the two of them but Maya wouldn't look at the camera. It would have been a great pic!

Painted Faces at Oktoberfest

Ashlyne has the other half of the butterfly painted on her face. She was excited to watch as Maya got hers done.

 They were so excited and were dancing; I wish I had it on video. It was adorable!

26 Weeks

26 weeks pregnant.
14 weeks left.
Tired all the time.
Hot all the time.
Baby boy moves and kicks a lot.
Dave and Maya have both been able to feel him kick.
We are naming him Cade.
We all can't wait till December! 

Candy Belt

At the Holman's block party Maya had a chance to put on a duct tape belt and roll in candy. 

She didn't get any candy on her belt when she rolled in it (she didn't quite understand the concept) but with some help from Grandma Mary Lou she managed to come away with some tasty treats.
