Well another week has passed and the weekend is finally here. We get excited for the weekend because we usually go to new restaurants and the beach. The weekend isn't necessarily a break from school, i usually study for 4-5 hours saturday morning and sunday night, but i don't have class so it frees up a little personal time for me and Shand. Homework in law school is a curious thing. The more you study the more excited you get about your new knowledge. But, the more knowledge you gain the more you feel like you need to study more. It's a never ending cycle of taking a break because you feel like you've done plenty of homework and then an hour later feeling like you need to go study some more. It all amounts to a lot of reading and a lot of typing. Every case we read I type a page or more brief. So, lots of good hard work.
Shandie's new job has started and it's fun to hear her stories. I'm jealous that she gets to walk through the gaslamp district everyday to go to work because my walk is mostly through apartments. We also had our first rainstorm the other day. I think it actually was the first cloud we have seen since we got here. It was a fun little change but it was sunny as usual the very next day. Lots of fun!

Hope life is great these days. It finally cooled off today from being in the 90's the past few days and it actually felt cold. So I put Alyssa in her darling pink "bomber" hat. I will have to take photos, but thought of you Shandie!
