Just another day at the beach...

Today we spent some time in Coronado. It was a pretty day but it was pretty windy.

We also bought a new kitchen table a couple of days ago. It looks great!

Walk walk walk....

I am out of shape! I walked to the grocery store today and by the time I got home I looked like I had just gotten out of the swimming pool. I'm still excited though to be close enough to walk places. By the time we come home for the holidays I'm hoping to be quite a few pounds lighter.
Anyway, the weekend was a blast and we had a lot of fun with Josh. I just wanted to post a few more pictures.

The Bodies Exhibit

Today we went to The Bodies Exhibition. Check out the website. It was really interesting, I'm really glad we went. There were a couple of things that grossed me out though. They had a tumor that had hair and teeth. EW! That just freaks me out that you can get a tumor that has full grown hair and teeth. Also, they had an exhibit of just the skin from a body. It looked like a leather skin suit. Kind of gross.
Anyway, San Diego is awesome and I'm enjoying every minute of it. Dave starts school on Monday. Josh is in town until tomorrow so we are going out tonight to celebrate the last days before we have to buckle down and be responsible. :) I'll be sure to post more pictures tomorrow while Dave and Josh are golfing.

We Made It

Hello from San Diego! We arrived on Tuesday and got everything unloaded. The apartment is starting to come together, there are still boxes to unpack but I'm just not sure where to put everything.
The weather is wonderful of course! We've done a little exploring. I'm really looking forward to all of the different restaurants and shopping areas. Everything is walking distance which is wonderful! I'm a little afraid to drive right now but I'm sure that I will get used to it.
Dave had his orientation today. He came home with 50 pounds of books! He did meet someone while he was standing in line at the orientation who is from Salt Lake. It will be nice to start making friends and getting to know the city.
Anyway, I do have pictures but I can't upload them yet because the battery in my camera is dead and I can't find the rechargeable batteries. So, just keep checking back and I will get them posted as soon as possible.

Moving Day

I know it's been a while since you have heard from me but as you can imagine we've been really busy. Today is the day! We are leaving Utah around noon. My brother is riding with us. We are staying over night in Vegas at the Hard Rock Hotel (which I'm way excited about!!) and then it's on to SAN DIEGO!! I'm really excited and once we get everything set up I will start to post pictures again. Thanks again to everyone for your help and support, especially our parents. We will miss you!!!
