Here I am at 27 1/2 weeks. As you can see, I'm really starting to plump up! I will be entering the third and final trimester of my pregnancy next Friday. According to my pregnancy book, our baby girl is a little over 2 pounds now and is about 15 inches long from head to toe. Her eyes are opened now and she is able to taste the foods that I eat. She has also been moving around a lot more and I constantly find myself staring at her kicks and jabs in my belly. It's really exciting!
As for me, I've been really tired now that my sleep is constantly interrupted by leg cramps, hunger and strange dreams. The pregnancy hormones are starting to really affect me and I feel like I'm on a constant roller coaster of emotions. Aside from that, I am still really excited for our baby and I'm enjoying the unique experience of pregnancy.
