Finals are over!!!
After all is said and done, my latest bout of finals ended up being quite a big one. Fortunately, they are the last finals before the bar exam (yea!). Going into finals, I knew that this was a big semester because I had 5 finals. Usually I have at least one practicum class that focuses more on in class work than having a final at the end of a semester; however, this semester required that I fit in a lot of the big ones that I hadn't taken yet. For example, I had to take Evidence (does anybody truly understand hearsay?) and Constitutional Law II (most interesting class ever; 1st, 5th, 13th, 14th, and 15th, Amendments and Fundamental Rights). Unfortunately for me (and several of my friends that have similar classes) those two classes had finals on the same day. Two very big classes, two 3 hour long final exams, and only 2 hours in between those exams! Needless to say my brain was mush afterwards. But I couldn't stop and rest there, I had another final two days later. In fact, I had 5 finals in 6 days. It was by far the most demanding stretch of brain work I've ever had. Looking on the bright side of things, I suppose that this is good practice for the bar exam in February which is 2 days and 13 hours of testing. But it all eventually ends, and my friend Mike and I immediately left and stuffed ourselves with incredible pastrami sandwiches from a beachside deli in Ocean Beach, and then went to the cliffs above Blacks Beach. The ocean seems to dilute the information that i had crammed into my head and releases the tension. Here's the picture I took on my phone.

Congrats on finishing! I hope it all goes well for you.
Yay!! Always a good feeling to be done with some tough finals. Great to have somewhere close that is fun to go to afterwards as well--beautiful beach!
